Drop out

Summary

Feature film about a couple of rebellious schoolkids who protest against the education system.

A bus with fractious schoolchildren travels through the Netherlands to persuade other students to rebel with them against the education system. It works, and more and more students decide to join them. This quickly leads to a counterreaction from teachers who unite together as the ‘Association of Concerned Teachers’. This group tries to use sabotage to stop the students, but their efforts backfire – more and more supporters continue to join the movement. Even the minister of education steps in, and the Americans are involved in the talks. A festive demonstration at the pier at Scheveningen marks the students’ definitive victory.
