Drie weken huisknecht
Summary
Comedy about an impoverished nobleman who changes places with his valet.
A young nobleman has fallen on lean times and is forced to sell his castle to a rich butcher. The butcher and his family move in straight away and the nobleman, who has changed place with his valet, enters into the service of the new owners. When the daughter of the house falls in love with him, all is revealed. The marriage enables the nobleman to keep his castle. By a stroke of luck, he also turns out to have a talent for agriculture and, with a little financial help from his father-in-law, the estate flourishes.
Drie weken huisknecht was the only feature length film produced during the war years.
