ELTA, Amsterdam
Summary
Reportage about the First Air Traffic Exhibition Amsterdam (ELTA).
The First Air Traffic Exhibition Amsterdam (ELTA) was held in early August, 1919, at a site on the Papaverweg in Amsterdam-Noord. The film consists of several items that were later merged into a short reportage. We see the ELTA grounds under construction, and the opening of the exhibition by the Minister of Public Works A. König.
The film also includes brief shots of flight demonstrations and the arrival of the first large aeroplane, a Handley Page, piloted by Colonel Douglas.
