Dakota

Summary

A Douglas DC-3 and its pilot play the leading roles in a story which switches to and fro between the beautiful natural landscape of the Antilles and the chilly, grey environment of a less exciting Holland.

In the end, pilot and machine, with some obscure contraband on board, disappear in the fog above Holland, in the direction of sunny Casablanca.

The women in Dakota remain in the background, it is the story of a man consistently choosing freedom for himself and his plane.
