Variété Flora
history
This variety theatre on Amstelstraat 20-28 in Amsterdam also held film screenings, usually integrated into specialty shows or revues.
Its general manager was F.A. Nöggerath Sr., who was later succeeded by his son, F.A. Nöggerath Jr.
The Variété Flora burned down twice: on August 29, 1902, and in February of 1929. After the fire of 1902, a second Variété Flora was rebuilt at the same address, and opened on December 17, 1903.
