Summary

The internationally-known four-day marathon walk near Nijmegen was chosen as the 'living decor' for this film.

Celebrated Dutch comedian Jobnny Kraaykamp sr leads the film, where, as an experiment, five prisoners are allowed to take part in the four-day walk.

The film, directed in such a way as to leave the actors a wide measure of freedom, was planned as lighthearted cinema fare, but there is a sub-plot of a thriller-like nature, concerning the theft of a costly antique statue. This theme, lending itself easily to parody, takes to be action to the colourful city of Amsterdam.

Among the female extras in what is typically a man’s film, is British actress Jessica Benton, known for her role as James Onedin's in television's ‘The Onedin Line’.
