Summary
Reportage about the opening of the Dutch Parliament.
The reportage opens with the arrival of the Golden coach in the Binnenhof, where Queen Wilhelmina is received amidst much ritual display: banners flapping in the wind, soldiers standing in formation, valets helping the Queen out of the coach, and the Queen genuflecting. When she is inside the building, the soldiers are at ease, and make jokes for the camera. We also see the Queen’s departure.
