On his white horse, and accompanied by Pete, Saint Nicholas rides through the Jordaan. The schoolchildren are waiting for him. As Pete scatters gingerbread cookies, the children swarm to grab them. Parents and local residents look on, cheerful and curious. Saint Nicholas and Pete play together with a group of children and parents. After the singing, the gifts are handed out.
