Summary

A jealous businessman seeks revenge on his wife.

When his partner presents him with the (forged) evidence of his young wife Sylvette's unfaithfulness, factory owner Jean Sourdier kills him in a fit of rage. After fifteen years in prison he is determined to take revenge on his wife by killing Ninette, a daughter from her second marriage. He comes to his senses just in time.

De man zonder hart was shot as a so-called multi language version production (mlv). The first mlv made by producer Hans Boekman was Klokslag twaalf. Audiences didn't generally go in for films that had been recorded in several different language versions. They felt the acting was mechanical, and the films mere factory products.
