Brilstra en zijn bromvlieg

Summary

Children’s film adapted from the eponymous book and radio play by children’s book author A.D. Hildebrand.

Village smith Brilstra from the town of Ondermaten is so impressed when a helicopter makes an emergency landing in a meadow in the village that he decides to add rotors to a scooter and turn it into a ‘flying moped’. It works, and his son Hannes makes a test flight – and ends up landing in a tree.

After that, father and son find themselves in a number of exciting adventures where they unmask a thief and find a treasure. This treasure provides seed money for them to start a factory to make flying mopeds, and Brilstra is appointed director.
