De wraak van 'De zwarte pijl'
Summary
Lex de Vries, a member of the scout club "The Black Arrow", is often teased by his older sister To. When she starts to insult his club, Lex leaves the house in anger and joins his friends in the club-house. The scouts decide that they will be revenged on To. They know that To is to meet her boyfriend, John Verhoeve, on a certain evening and they plan to make a film of the meeting. Some time later Mrs de Vries invites the members of "The Black Arrow" to show some of their films at a party she intends to give for family and friends. The invitation is gleefully accepted. On the evening of the party, after there has been some dancing, the scouts arrive with their projector and films. The lights are dimmed and the performance begins with a film about the scouts' sporting activities. This is followed by a new film the boys have made, called "The Vengeance of The Black Arrow". At first the audience sees a couple walking together, but too far away to be recognized. When the people see who the young woman and man are, everyone enjoys the show enormously, except the father and mother, To and John. When the couple on the screen suddenly kiss each other, the audience applauds, but Mrs de Vries scolds To and Mr de Vries gives John a good talking-to. The situation is saved, however, by an uncle who suggests that the time has come for To and John to become engaged. The scouts have had their vengeance and all ends happily.
