Summary

Minimalist commentary on film adaptations of 'arty' poetry, made for the finals of the Prix de Rome, a prestigious Dutch art award.

The film Consists of only two shots: in the first, Briefly we see a person who picks up a stone from the road. Then there's a fairly long shot of an open book; on the left-hand page is the poem 'No meio do Caminho' in Portuguese, and on the right-hand side is the Dutch translation.
