Summary

In high-contrast images, Holthuis shows an image of the city of Hong Kong. But above this is a portrait of the aircraft that shave across the city to land at Kai Tak airport. It seems like the Boeing 747’s are always and everywhere in the city – their shadows appear again and again. In a hushed world, without their roaring engines.
