Summary
Fire breaks out on the first floor of a building. A gentleman carrying some books and a cash-box runs out. The fire-brigade arrives, ladders are placed, hoses are thrown out and the men start to pump water on to the flames. A woman (represented by a life-size doll) trapped on the third floor is rescued.
