Circus op stelten

Summary

This film set in the world of the circus marks the debut of Karst van der Meulen.

Five children put together an acrobat number, but the circus director will not even allow them to perform for him. While they wander the circus grounds, their attention is caught by a number of strange incidents that make them think someone is trying to sabotage the circus.

They, themselves, are suspected of being the saboteurs but together with a boy from the circus, they find the real guilty party - an escaped monkey. They catch the animal in the nick of time and as their reward, they are allowed to take their place in the ring to show their act - making their wildest dream come true.
