Summary

Experimental documentary about five independent experimental filmmakers in the Netherlands. The film consists of a relay of five studio visits, whereby each of the filmmakers visits another filmmaker and makes home video-like recordings using a wind-up camera. For example, filmmaker Cyrus Frisch visits Karel Doing, who has just finished his film ‘Maas Observation’, and Doing films the godfather of experimental film Frans Zwartjes, in whose bathroom he develops the film. Zwartjes has a meeting with his former student Jean Pierre Sens, who recounts his stay in Berlin. Sens then talks with Viktor Nieuwenhuys and Maartje Seyferth in the studio of Moskito Film about their next film Lulu.
