One of the first Dutch animated films, An Adventure in the Skies pays attention to the Eerste Luchtverkeer Tentoonstelling Amsterdam, which opened on August 1, 1919.
The film opens with some precarious 'adventures' with a balloon, an umbrella, and a few aeroplanes. At the end of the film, we see a poster in which the letters are gradually re-ordered to announce the exhibition.
