After receiving a royal reception, the Queen walks into the parliament building, where she will deliver the Queen's Speech. After this speech, of which only a motionless segment is visible, the Queen leaves the parliament building, climbs into the Golden coach and departs. The ride, reception, and speech are accompanied by the ritual display of valets, horses, banners, and military guards.
