Summary
A rustic romance.
The farmer's daughter and her young man spend idyllic moments in the countryside, riding in a buggy and then rowing on the lake. The girl plucks a daisy: "He loves me, he loves me not..." but of course he loves her.
The young man asks her parents for their daughter's hand in marriage. The old people readily give their consent and the two men shake hands. Joyfully, the young lovers embrace.
