Biography
The Dutch production manager and director Pierre Hulsman began his career as an assistant at Filmfabriek Holland, where he was successively the assistant at W.A. MacLean and general manager of the Brussels branch.
Back in the Netherlands, he was in charge of the Cinetone Studio’s laboratory, and also worked for Associated Acoustics in Amsterdam. With Adriënne Solser, he co-directed two of the four ‘Bet’ films (comic films based on the character Bet) in the 1920s.
