Melvin Clay

Biography

Melvin Clay is an American actor and director. He came to the Netherlands in the 1960s as a member of the theatre company called The Living Theatre and played in films such as To Grab the Ring and Het compromis. In 1972, his own first feature film, Overload, was released. Clay also made several film recordings of The Living Theatre. After this, Clay departed for the United States, where he is active as a writer and theatre maker.
