Biography
Maartje Seyferth studied at the Theaterschool in Antwerp, and for a long while was associated with various theatre companies, in addition to working as a freelance actress. She also completed her studies at the Rietveld Academy, with a focus on painting, and at Amsterdam’s Hogeschool voor de Kunsten, in the department of film direction. Since 1984, she has been active as a filmmaker. Together with Victor Nieuwenhuijs, she has her own production company, Moskito Film.
