Biography
Linda van Dijck was born in Amsterdam as Linda Marianne de Hartogh. She is the daughter of Leo de Hartogh and Teddy Schaank. At the age of eleven she played her first television role with her foster father Ko van Dijck in De vader.
In the 1960s she was the singer in a band called Boo and the Booboo's. She left for Sweden in 1969 and married director Lars Halmstrom. In Sweden she initially continued her stage career, but she returned to the Netherlands in 1973. She played in a number of films, including Het gangstermeisje, 10.32, Twee vrouwen en een vorst, Ademloos, Ciske de rat, Magonia and Het schnitzelparadijs.
