Biography

Asta Nielsen was one of the first international cinema stars. At the beginning of the 1910s, the Danish actress created a furore with her German-made films.

In 1920 she paid a visit as a special guest to the Internationaale Kino-Tentoonstelling. For this occasion, she acted in a short film (Vendetta) that was filmed in the presence of the audience.
