Summary

Various locations: a road, the interior of a house, a mountain landscape, a dike with a lighthouse, and a cemetery, most of which are filmed using travelling shots. People move slowly and laboriously.

A returning motive is the crucifix, which eventually imbues the lighthouse with a divine quality.
