Now That You Are Gone
Summary
Decay becomes something touching at the Père Lachaise cemetery, where the filmmaker passionately films a woman weeping at the grave of Chopin, even though it was her own beloved that she had just lost. Wobbling gelatine puddings lose themselves in all their splendour, the decline of Mickey Mouse on an old black Ford. This film focuses on the beauty of impermanence, whereby chance plays a major role, and colour acts as a connecting element.
