Nostalghia Places
Summary
Homage from a humble anonymous filmmaker to a great master. We visit two locations in Tuscany that play a major role in Andrei Tarkovsky’s film Nostalghia: an old gothic church without a roof, and a thermal bath located in the centre of a village. This is not totally free of irony, because in addition to the respectful shots, there are also scenes that place the locations in a different, more airy light.
