The report shows some carnival traditions of Den Bosch. On display are the traditional arrival by train of Prince Carnival and his assistant (both of whom traditionally do not hail from Den Bosch), the opening of the carnival, and the parade through the city with the “princely cavalry”. The carnival in Den Bosch is one of the most popular in the Netherlands, and extra night trains are used to transport visitors from out of town.
