Fokker Film

history

After the First World War, aviation pioneer Anthonie Fokker relocated his aircraft factory from Germany to the Netherlands. In the Netherlands, the factory, which was established in the early 1910s under the name Fokker Aviatik, was renamed the Nederlandse Vliegtuigenfabriek. Because of his work for the Germans, the name Fokker was not uncontroversial.

The Nederlandse Vliegtuigenfabriek soon represented the national aviation industry in the Netherlands. In the early 1920s, after Fokker had achieved a national reputation, the name was changed to the Koninklijke Nederlandse Vliegtuigfabriek Fokker. From the beginning of the 1920s, the factory released a number of corporate and promotional films under the name Fokker Film.
