Belge-Cinéma Film
history
On February 14, 1908, Pathé Frères established the distribution company Belge Cinéma in Brussels. Belge Cinéma, responsible for film distribution in Belgium and the Netherlands, was run by the Frenchman Edmond Benoît-Lévy.
In 1912, Pathé established a production department, for which filmmaker Alfred Machin made a number of films between 1912 and 1914.
