Kees Hin
Biography
Kees Hin began his film career as an assistant at the Cinetone Studios. He then worked on films by Fons Rademakers and Bert Haanstra. His first film he made in 1965: Onderaards, a film commissioned for the NAM. Since then he has directed more than sixty feature films, documentaries and television films; many of which in collaboration with writer K. Schippers.
Hin has also been a lecturer at the Rijksacademie voor Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam and has held a number of management positions with Dutch film organizations such as the Filmmuseum and the Rotterdam Film Festival IFFR.
