Biography
Pieter Engels briefly studied at the Koninklijke Academie voor Kunst en Vormgeving in Den Bosch, and at the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam, where he specialized in sculpture and architecture. Engels is considered one of the main representatives of Dutch conceptual art. In addition to his visual art, he has also produced texts, actions and performances, some of which have been captured on film and video.
