De Rijksveeartsenijkundige Hoogeschool
Summary
Film about the Royal Veterinary College in Utrecht.
This college in Utrecht is our country’s only one for veterinary surgeons. The film shows a number of barracks where practical training is given. We see how a horse’s molar is pulled: the animal is sedated, put in a travaille, and then lifted. The tooth is then removed using a large set of pliers. We also see a dog having a splint put on his front leg.
